The Country Lesbian Association (TCLA) is not real, yet. It’s a spirit, a memory, a joyful joke. Founded during one unforgettable gathering (yes, just once!), TCLA lives on in the hearts and minds of its founding members and all who feel seen by the name.

Born out of laughter, love, and maybe a little bit of moonshine, the TCLA is unincorporated, uncooperative, and unapologetically us. We don’t do meetings. We don’t have dues. We don’t even really have plans. But we do have pride, stories, and the kind of affection that only country lesbians can understand.

TCLA is for all women, gender diverse and beautifully queer souls to enjoy. We welcome anyone who identifies as a lesbian, loves lesbians, or just wants to celebrate us in all our flannel-wearing, DIY projects, dirt-road-romancing, cottage-core glory. Whether you’re learning to play “Fast Cars” on guitar, writing poetry, fixing fences, or just dreaming of wide skies there’s a place for you here.

Long live The Country Lesbian Association. Long live the one time we met.
